Performing a Recovery (Factory Reset) of AD v3

You perform a recovery (factory reset) of AD v3 to restore the device to factory default settings.

AD v3 has a power button that is used to power on the device, to turn off or reboot the device, and to perform other actions.

The power button is located centrally, on the top of the device.

The action of the AD v3 power button depends on which mode the device is in and how long the power button is pressed.

The recovery (factory reset) will erase all user settings.

To perform a recovery (factory reset) of AD v3
  1. Turn off the power to AD v3 and then turn on the power again.

  2. Press the AD v3 power button for more than 10 seconds.

  3. Tap anywhere on the screen to select and highlight RECOVERY .

    Note:

    To cancel and reboot, tap again on the screen to select and highlight REBOOT .

  4. Tap and hold on the screen until the highlight color turns green, and then release.
