Changing User Settings in the Commission Mobile Application

Should you wish, you can change user settings in the Commission mobile application. This includes changing the in-application language and granting or denying access to system settings for the application location, camera, or storage.

You use the More menu to do the following in the Commission mobile application:

  • Access the Web Help and Video help features

  • View the privacy notice, terms of use and about pages

  • Send or stop sending analytic events

To access and use the more menu

  1. From the flyout menu, click More .

    When that menu opens, you see the first name and last name of the user account below the screen name.

    Note:

    If you wish, you can also use the More menu to log out of the Commission Mobile application.

  2. Click Settings to change the application language, and access the Operating System settings for the Commission mobile application.

  3. Under Get Support , click to access the help features of the Commission mobile application such as Web Help and Video Help .

  4. Under Permissions & Privacy , click Privacy to see the application’s privacy notice.

  5. Click to access the Consent Management page that you saw previously during the log in process.

  6. Click the button

    to send or turn off sending analytic events based upon what you are doing in the application.

  7. Click to view the Terms of Use and About pages if you wish.

    For example, the About page provides more detailed information about the application, such as the application version and copyright information.

To change user settings in the Commission mobile application

  1. In the Commission mobile application flyout menu, click More .

  2. On the More menu page, click Settings .

  3. On the Settings page, click the Device dropdown next to the Language setting to change the in-application language.

    A picklist displays listing a series of languages such as English, Finnish, German, French, Italian etc.

  4. Click French for example if you wish to change the change the current in-application language from its current setting to French.

    The Commission mobile application then translates the available menus and settings and displays them in French.

  5. On the Settings page, click the Launch button

    to open the App Settings .

  6. On the Apps > Apps & Features > Building Commission page, click in the App permissions section to allow the mobile app to grant or deny camera, location or storage access.

  7. Click X at the top of the page to exit once you finish.
