Note:

The MP controller Ethernet and Status indicators comprise two LEDs (green/yellow and green/red respectively) in one structure.

The LEDs indicate status of the MP controller and the ongoing communication.

Status LED

The MP controller Status LED indicates the condition of the device.

Important:

Avoid interrupting power to the device during the short period of time when the Status LED is flashing red and green. An interruption causes problems with the I/O processor upgrade, which can lead to corrupt firmware. The symptom of a corrupt I/O processor is often seen as the device reporting itself as a “MP-C-15A”. A corrupt I/O processor can lead to loss of reset button functionality, loss of all I/O functionality, inability to upgrade the I/O processor, and/or inability to upgrade the device.

Sensor Bus LEDs

The Sensor Bus LEDs indicate the condition of the sensor bus data communication.
