Filters
In WebHelp, you use filters to narrow a search result list or topic list to only display topics that are related to specific functionality, products, or information type.
In the functionality, products, and information type filters, you can select more than one alternative.

Filter your topic list to display topics that are related to the functionality you have selected. Examples of functionalities: Trends, Alarms, LonWorks and Xenta. |

Filter your topic list to display topics that are related to the products you have selected. Examples of products: AS-P, AS-B, Enterprise Server, License Server, and IP-IO. |

Information type |
Filter your topic list to display information types that are related to the type of information you have selected. Examples of information types: Concept, User Interface, and How-to. For more information, see Information Types . |
When you bookmark a page in WebHelp, it is bookmarked together with your defined filter settings. For example, you bookmark a search result list that is filtered to only display topics that are related to WorkStation. When you enter WebHelp through the bookmark, only WorkStation related topics are shown. You can change the filter to show other topics, but the next time you enter WebHelp through the bookmark only WorkStation related topics are shown again.
