Activities Per Server Report

The Activities Per Server report provides information about user and system activities for a particular SmartStruxure server. An example of a user activity is creating or changing an object. An example of a system activity is initializing a SmartStruxure server. You can use the report to determine which activities occur most often and then consider ways to improve your system. For example, suppose the report shows an operator frequently changing a temperature set point. You may want to then check the room controls to determine if a room adjustment is required. In another example, you could use the report to determine what objects are accessed the most and then make those objects more easily accessible in WorkStation.

The following table shows the input parameters for the report.

Description

Start report date/time

Specifies the start date and time of the activity period.

End report date/time

Specifies the end date and time of the activity period.

Date range filter

Specifies the date range of an operation, such as an alarm trigger, the running of a report schedule, or a read by the Reporting Agent.

For example, if you select Last 7 days for an alarm report, the report displays information about all alarms that were triggered during the last 7 days. If you select Last 7 days for the Report schedule report, the report displays information about all Report schedules that were run during the last 7 days. If you select Last 7 days for the Reporting Agent report, the report displays information about all Reporting Agent reads that occurred during the last 7 days.

Select Fixed date if you entered a Start report date/time and an End report date/time .

Hide SystemReportsService activity

Prevents the SystemReportsService activity from displaying in the report. The SystemReportsService is related to Reporting Agent operations. Use the Hide feature if you do not want the report to display information about the SystemReportsService.

Server

Specifies the server that logs the activity.

Report view

Specifies the format, such as a table, for displaying the report.

Show top

Specifies a number used to filter the top most frequently occurring activities.
