Saving Log On Details on Technician Tool

For a faster log on, use the Remember me feature to automatically fill in your logon information.

Note:

  • For security reasons, your password is not automatically filled in when you log off.

  • Your password is automatically filled in when you push the application in Background.

You log on to Technician Tool to securely access the functions in Building Operation.

To log on to SmartStruxure server using a Technician Tool, you need to know the following account information:

  • User name

  • Password

  • Server

Note:

To access the functionality of Building Operation from Technician Tool, you need to configure EcoStruxure Web Service Server. For more information, see Configuring the EcoStruxure Web Service Server .

Remember me

For a faster log on, use the Remember me feature to automatically fill in your user name and server in Technician Tool. For security reasons, your password is not automatically filled in.

When you do not log off and Technician Tool logs off of the SmartStruxure server after the configured background log off time, your password is also automatically filled in.

Turn off Remember me to clear the information you have stored in the Log on window of Technician Tool. For example, you want to be able to use different accounts when logging on, or log on to different SmartStruxure servers in the domain.

To save your log on details

  1. In Technician Tool, select Remember me .

    • Tap ON for iOS device.

    • Select check box for Android device.
