Views
In Technician Tool, you can display the Building Operation database in two ways:
Custom view: Displays only the objects and folders that you want to see in the order that you want.
System view: Displays the entire tree structure of Building Operation as it appears in WorkStation.
You can view the following objects in Technician Tool:
Automation Servers (seen only in System view)
Alarms
Trends
Schedules
Graphics
Function Block Programs
Script Programs
Devices
Custom View
Custom View lists the objects and functions that are available in the Custom View folder of Building Operation in a logical manner, such as hierarchical, geographical, or functional. So, you do not see the entire tree structure of WorkStation, just the parts that you want to see or all the parts in the order that you want. For example, in WorkStation, you create a Custom View that contains variables of a Campus that you want to monitor from Technician Tool.
