Download, install, and log on to the Commission mobile application

Download, install, and log on to the Commission mobile application, and then accept the Terms of use agreement.

Power up the controllers

Power up the BACnet/IP controllers.

Prepare a wired or wireless connection for Commission mobile application

Prepare a wired or wireless connection for use with the Commission mobile application mobile device.

Start the Commission mobile application and discover controllers

Start the Commission mobile application and then discover the BACnet/IP controllers on the network.

To connect to a network of BACnet/IP controllers through a wireless access point

  1. Confirm that the access point is connected to a wired network containing a DHCP server.

  2. Configure the network settings on the mobile device running the Commission mobile application to connect to the WiFi network containing the BACnet/IP controllers.

  3. On the mobile device, enable WiFi and then connect to the wireless network.

  4. In the Commission mobile application, on the Select Connection view, select the WiFi icon

    to start wireless networking.

  5. In the Device List view, select the BACnet/IP controllers to make the connection.

Using the Commission mobile application, you can now perform tasks on the connected BACnet/IP controllers as needed.
